Had a memorable Christmas holiday at this B&B up on the mountain. Ample signs led our way up to the cozy homestay, and they offer a diverse buffet style breakfast spread, inclusive of Taiwanese cuisine, our personal favorite. We were able to witness the daily lives of the locals as they played cards and mahjong and got to savor the warmth of their smiles. Best of all, this B&B was only a short walk away from the famous street of red lanterns, making it a perfect location for the tourist-at-heart.

Though the homestay provides a low-cost stay, the facilities, room size, and cleanliness subpar compared to its counterparts. It was as if we stayed in a box with thin walls, making it challenging to move around or have enough space for our luggage.
